Project Goal
To design and project manage a major refurbishment of an existing three storey office and laboratory accommodation.
Solution
We have worked with P&G for over 20 years completing in excess of 160 projects across their national property portfolio. As part of their ‘Space 2020’ global plan to increase occupancy to 120%, we were appointed to complete this major refurbishment. The refurbishment was to include designing new facilities in addition to completing refurbishment works.
To optimise the space available we implemented new acoustic partitioning and removed unnecessary laboratories to create an open plan office with new meeting room space and a video conference suite. We completed a full refurbishment of all facilities, in addition to installing new facilities and services to meet the requirements associated with the number of staff who would occupy the building. The design further included a new wall, floor and ceiling coverings with new suspended ceilings. The project required full internal strip out, with successful outcome of increasing the site’s current occupancy from 50% to 100%.
