Project Goal
To complete an external refurbishment and redecoration of residential flats.
Solution
Following our appointment we completed a survey of the eight storey block of flats in Putney to ascertain its suitability for an external upgrade. Completed in two phases the solution included new windows, external repairs, redecoration, roof repairs and brickwork cleaning in order to create uniformity and remedy some of the poor practices that had been exercised over the years.
The removal of the existing single glazing and the installation of new double glazed windows visually enhanced the look of the 1970’s building. As part of the window replacement we infilled current balcony openings to further standardise the configuration and appearance on the rear elevation. Additionally, we completed a refurbishment of the lobby areas in keeping with the period of construction.
